Open position: Environmental Health & Health Policy Sciences Program Officer

Seeking knowledgeable, forward-thinking scientist to help guide exciting research programs in breast cancer-related prevention, environmental health, and health policy.

The position has primary responsibility in the area of environmental health and health policy sciences in the California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP), including program development and planning, peer reviewer and applicant relations, grant/contract application and award management, and representing the program and disseminating research findings to a broad range of organizations and institutions concerned with breast cancer. The incumbent has independent responsibility for large, complex research grant programs/initiatives. He/she participates in short-term and long-term strategic planning for grant-making, program evaluation and research strategies.
